I was reading this on my flight back from mexico; specifically, “Bigfoot” I was sobbing and thinking about how we are all shaped by the people around us. I cried harder knowing Anthony Bourdain isn’t around anymore. I like that he was influenced by “ordinary” people around him. Every time I eat something now, I pay attention to every single flavor running through my mouth. That’s thanks to him.
