I am about to DNF this one. I can't believe the author of Water for Elephants also wrote this. Annemarie is an immature brat, far too old to be behaving the way she does. I keep thinking she'll get better or change, but I'm 156 pages in, and she's still behaving about as well as her spoiled teenage daughter. Really, which one is the teenager here? From what I've read in other reviews, it doesn't get better.
