DNF p78. Clever idea, imaginatively written, not enough to keep me going.
I was initially impressed by the idea but after a while it felt like “medieval human epic through a bee lens”.
Dialogue grated, plot devices started to feel stale. Maybe I gave up too early, but I felt like we were heading for one episodic “new bee fact scenario” after another and then a wrap.
