there's this town called pocketown and then there's this book club that peaches the FMC hosts w her friends and taro js moved into town and she doesn't seem to be interacting w anyone so ppl think shes weird/odd and peaches makes it a mission to befriend it but she finds its not so easy but one day she sits next to taro on the train and taro opens up Abt her interests on spooky stuff and to get along peaches says she likes spooky stuff too but she rlly doesn't + is easily scared so she invites her friend group + taro to watch a scary movie but ovi peaches gets scared but tries not to act like it and then there's a misunderstanding between peaches + taro; but finally peaches tells her the truth and taro understands and says shes never had someone try so hard to be friends w her before. they then watch mew mew which peaches + her friends wanted to watch og but turns out taro likes it too bc js bc she likes spooky stuff doesn't mean she doesn't like other stuff too...
