all of these characters and relationships having started in high school is kind of lame. dylan + mateo. griffin + june + levi. and maybe i missed it but i still am not sure of everyone’s ages? but they were all “best friends” in school so they must be close in age. also not sure why we needed the sister annie to be dead in this story, rather than maybe a quirky aunt?

this is reminding me of the way never been shipped was written. i’d rather have a dual timeline that being told about the characters’ past relationship.
