These companies just don't care about what they have to do or ruin in order to get what they want, they simply take.

People do fight back, and sometimes they win.

Everything I've been hearing about now has been happening for years. This book has really driven home the fact that money buys people's morals more often than I thought.

Learning how they trained the previous GPT models...and knowing now how that has played out on the internet this year alone, compounded with the knowledge that the Altman (and others) knew that society wouldn't benefit, but it didn't matter because it was good for business...from the beginning...tells me how disconnected from the majority of normal society these people are, and how much they want ultimate power.
