It’s so unfortunate - in the beginning the book presents it that there’s no way Schlichtmann could lose the case! But during the trial, and even preparing for it with the magistrate not liking him and Facher and Judge Skinner going to the same law school, the trial was working against him. He had to present the case in pieces and for the jury now have to answer those weird questions in order to proceed with case

It’s good so far. I love the dichotomy in the prefect between the lawyer in his expensive suit and his Porsche but he’s being sued for arrears on all his mortgages and rent and car payments.
