also omgg i rllyyy liked the sherlock homes aspect of it likee it really made me want to get back into enola holmes more bc ovii i´ve watched clips + parts of the Enola Holmes movies like 2 years ago and i still remember it and i want to continue it but i rlly want to read the series first; also that series is so goated bc millie bobbi brown + louis patridge are playing!!

i know theres more to gemma + ryans story bc of how it ended; overall it was solid; the plot was good, the characters were good (but could be explored more) and the writing was fine. not bad for my first mystery. makes me want to read more of this genre but this is more of a ¨cozy¨ mystery but suspense/thrillers sounds wayy more appealining to me. bc i prefer wayy more action + suspence + pyscological twists

and what made me kind of irritated is that if i was nowhere near to guessing it, i´d be fine with it but the fact that i knew it might be her and suspected ruby and the reason i suspected ruby but then dismissed it uhhh it makes me kinda madd; anyways the writing was solid and i rlly did like the ruby and gemma ¨fight¨ scene bc it did add suspense and created some fear ifykm. i liked gemma but idkk shes js fine ig.

woahh okayy so this was my first mystery in a whileee....and it was pretty good i think. it started off slow which bored me but then a death occured which ovi pipqued up my interest and the story picked up a lot. it was confusing to keep track of who did what in terms of the investigation aspect but ig im js not used to mysetry yet thats why.

I really need to make progess on this because I was distracted by Komi Cannot Communicate, which was a fun read but we have to get back on trackk!!!

I´ve been trying to expand my reading tastes and to do that I want to open to read new genres and since I don´t really read mystery (now that I think about it, I don´t even know why I avoid it) I borrowed this from my library bc the covered catched my eye (not this cover a diff one) but anywayss im picking up mystery after a longggg while so it is likely to set the tone if i read this genre again
