-Conversation way to long to put in here-

Turning a simple mechanic into death or god(at least sounding like speaking to one of them). I don’t know. But turning a conversation about her broken car, to lonely people killing themselves and that she cannot run or hide from death anymore. Then he is her husband who belittles her. Telling her that’s it.

“Or I could cut Magda into pieces. Like the holes I had made in the garden, I’d dig and take little bits of Magda and place them in the black dirt, cover them up, sprinkle water from the can, watch through the kitchen window every morning as the sun shone down.”

Her imagination goes wild. After all no one can put a leash on her mind anymore. Being in charge over your own mind after not being able for so long -

“I didn’t have to change for death. It was always there. I’d been dressed for his funeral from the day we met.”

Spending most of your life with one person, they become a part of you. Her dead husband still has control over her, judges her. The more we learn about their relationship the more you realise he oppressed her thinking. Now being alone she is finally free but is still trapped somehow.

“If Ghod laid hand on my dog, I’d kill him. I wouldn’t even let him beg for mercy. I’d just slit his thick, white throat.”

The paranoia really got you girl.
