The writing is beautiful, I can’t stand Amir. He’s so selfish, entitled and cruel. I feel awful for Hassan. When he needed Amir the most, he wasn’t there. Once again, only thinking of himself and his own guilt. Nothing to support his friend who he now views as nothing more than an inconvenience and servant. How can Amir possibly be likable after doing nothing to support Hassan after a horrible, traumatic event
