This author needs to learn ANY OTHER BLOODY WORD THAN GULP. There are SO MANY, but no. She uses it even when 20 other words would make far more sense. I hoped she would leave that behind with the first book in this series, but, clearly, she seems to be paid for each instance of this frickin’ word.
