Not sure if I’m going to finish this one as I am skipping pages for the 3rd time. Non-spoilery reasons: (1) unnecessary hetero sex scene, (2) violence against cats, (3) anti-feminist rhetoric.

Have I once again fallen into the trap of famous male author who hates women and loves violence?

Ok, point 3 is a little bit more complex than that… my issue is the lack of nuance in the conversation. I’m so tired of basic, easily quotable phrases.

Maybe it was radical for 2005
