I don't really know how I feel about this book at the moment, I'm not hugely engaged with it even though the pacing is good and the story is okay, if a bit easy to spot where it'll end up.

I think it might be that the characters are a bit lacking so I'm not really invested in any of them ?

This has got sooo much better, it started at a 2* and at this rate it could get rounded up to 4* (so prepared to be disappointed)

going from pride and prejudice to this is crazy - it's okay so far, split narration between a couple selling their house. male author writing a female character's perspective will always be a bit too surface level and vapid for me.
