I have an unfair advantage because I know who Devina is, along knowing of Jim Heron. That's because I read nothing but "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" books instead of reading "Fallen Angels".

It is interesting to see a "younger" Devina and how she feels towards Jim, making herself seem like a damsel in distress. Yet trying to rile up her boyfriend and seeing how he responds. Not a fan of her, even this early on.
