Why am I crying during a thriller? How she is being treated during the birthday party had me sobbing! 😭

I have to finish this one tonight. It’s short chapters thankfully. But I’m becoming invested in knowing what’s going to happen. So far it’s not giving thriller vibes. But Veronica seems strange. And I loath Jeremy. Still waiting to see where that prologue comes in.
