As a person with a BA in math, and one year of graduate school, I found this book alternately fascinating, frustrating, puzzling, beautiful and irritating. The presentation does not always follow the tacit conventions of mathematical exposition, veering at times between breezy hand wavy notions and nice pictures and having some rigor.
