More than a decade out from the release of this book, and I'm finally thinking about why I love this book so much when some of my most trusted reading friends didn't. & I did love it. I HATE the pain Kate feels. Like, HATE. I'm devastated with her. Curran needs his ass kicked more each time I read it. But I'm beginning to have thoughts on why this may have worked better for me than some others.

Can't update. Too busy reading.

"Lord Megobari," a man announced.

"I hate her already," Andrea told me. "George hates her too, right, George?"

"I think she is adorable." George volunteered next to me. "We should give her milk and cookies, and if she promises to be quiet, she can sit at the big people's table."
