I find that incredibly insulting to enslaved people to write that some white vampire that wanted to destabilise France to get his revenge would push for slaves in Haiti and Jamaica to rebel with his compulsion magic. Or that Haitians were able to free themselves thanks to magic and not thanks to their strong will to be free. Also wtf why would u write that they were enslaved bc white people used magic spells ???!?!?!
