I wonder why Gabriel reacted the way that he did when Gwen came out to him. I know I'll get an explanation eventually, but I could feel her pain when she felt so devastated. 😔

'Why don't you come over here,' Gwen said sweetly, 'so I can pit you like an olive?'

That made me smile. I know I've written about this at least a few times, but I'm really enjoying the banter and dialogue in this book. It's very entertaining. 😁

I'm still amused by the witty dialogue. Sidney said something rude about Gabriel and it made me sad/irked me. 😟

Arthur was very broody at the end of this chapter. Poor guy.

That chapter focused on Arthur and Gabriel and it was really well-written. I enjoyed reading about Gabriel confiding in Arthur wrt his fears about becoming king. The upcoming chapter will be about Gwen, Agnes, and the party that they went to.

I wonder what Gwen will get up to during this chapter, if anything. She's not written as a character who's used to getting out much or venturing out of her comfort zone. This chapter should be interesting. 😌

Arthur's dialogue about incest in royal families made me chuckle. 😁

It was odd to read about Arthur's dysphoric mood during part of this chapter when I felt the same way earlier today. Grief is a real bitch. 😟😵‍💫

'Was just checking that you're still breathing.' - ''I regret to inform you: yes,' said Arthur.

The dark humor made me smile, which shows that I'm a credit to my culture and religion. 😆😉 Arthur's dialogue continues to be entertaining.

I can relate to Gwen in some ways. The way in which I can relate to her isn't very happy. 😖
