her opinions on functioning labels (coming from a white low-support needs autistic) are just damaging. there's some surface-level critique of capitalist systems. she's had many painful experiences, but she's also a white woman from what seems like an economically privileged background. i really relate to & feel seen by her experiences AND this book falls so short of the mark.
