omg I can't believe I have to pause my reading NOW of all times ughhhh

as someone who has been asked "are you my guardian angel?" in the girl's bathroom of a club by a crying drunk girl I'd never met before while I fixed her eyeliner and gave her advice on her best friend with whom she just had a fight with, this scene really resonates with me

literally this happened to me. this exact same day, I lived it

the way her mom is my mom is so uncanny like this was literally my life at 15 like. this is triggering something in me

oh my god I just realised that I misread which of the girls was the best friend and which was the other one.......this book just got muchhhhh betterrrrrrr

I can't tell you girls how cringy it is to me now when I read a book and there's like, descriptions of scrolling through social media feeds (,,>﹏<,,) like ok so now not only do I have to deal with the entirety of humankind becoming screen-addicted zombies but now I also have to READ the behaviour that I despise (╥﹏╥)
