just hang in there! its a slow start at first. Jamie'll be totally worth the wait. And the other books don't have slow starts, just the first one.

well.. .I mean, to each their own, but if you are a fan of hot Scottish men and absolute all consuming love, then yes, I promise it'll deliver that. Its definitely a slow start though but the pay off is worth it! And I'd say its more of a slow start to the series rather than a slow start to the book cuz book 2, 3 etc didn't start off slow. Jamie & Claire are one of 'those' epic couples. I'd say its totally worth the wait :)
It really is worth it...if you aren't hooked by the end of the book and dying to get the next then it's OK but you have to give it time!

How are you liking it, Pat? Although I like Jamie this book was just okay for me. Don't think I'll pick up the next.
i am still indifferent to the characters. i don't hate them and if i make it thru this one I'll probably read the next to decide if I really like this world and continue the series.

Ok well ur sorta starting to get to the good part ... Have patience :) I hope u end up loving it especially when things finally get going
the boar hunt happened. so we'll see. but I'm missing the HNN's I need a fix.
Lol just wait till they they get married. Once they fall in love and start being a real couple, things heat up. And he's sooooo protective of her :)
she's already married ---- to frank. dont' tell me.
Lol fear not. Everything works out ... it's no secret that the series is about Jamie and Claire :)
