This book seems oddly fasted paced. The ship system also seems a bit strange. Still, our hero is making things work. He's already cast two spells since leaving Earth. A spell for extended awareness, and one for seeing other's pasts and secrets. But despite this entertaining turn, it's not interesting me as much as my current reads. Maybe I'll just table this one for later.

Hmm, these chapters are rather short. But the pacing feels a bit rushed. Maybe it's done on purpose because his writing has less pages but still. Adrian is treating himself to some earthly delights before he leaves for Mars. But I'm also wondering- what year does this book take place in? I guess I'll find out.
