Can’t help but be excited by Bolaño again. Enjoyed it for the genre elements before but it is underrated as a book of ideas; in so many ways the book shows how we have regressed in critiquing capital and globalization. I suppose it took the weary eyes and hands of a Chilean-Marxist-Poet to truly illuminate the full extent of its brutalities.
