If I also had a dollar (or, since this novel is about money, the nouveau riche, several thousand dollars) for every time Galsworthy talks about the fucking Forsytes with their "Forsyteisms" and quirks, "appropriate to a Forsyte"...
Its as though he were at times looking at them as though they were a breed apart. This is a good novel but at times it gets grating and resemvles a Nat Geo special about the owls.
