My husband froze with his fingers over the keys, then turned slowly to face me, with exaggerated theatrics.
“You did not just say Bab Al-Hara.”
WHAT?! I did NOT expect that too😭 I literally have a video of me & my cousins trying to remake the infamous scene, along with the moustache & the red hat 😭

I couldn’t help myself—I swept her off the ground, spinning her around like a giddy teenager as she squealed in protest. “Careful, Riyadh! I’m fragile—”
“You’re not fragile,” I said, placing her back on her feet with
exaggerated care. “You’re incredible. And if we’re being technical, you’ve been a mum for a few weeks already.”

Whenever he speaks with the Syrian dialect I remember Bab el-hara 😂 Even though I never watched the show (IT'S 15 SEASONS LONG) I have the scene where Abu Essam divorces Suad memorizedd & it's my favourite thing to watch when I'm eating— as every normal Arab
