Someone on Storygraph described this as "the worst kind of example of 'written by a man'", and boy do I agree: female characters are mostly there to be admired, rescued or belittled. I initially thought the focus on the MC's ~*refined tastes*~ was supposed to be parody, but I'm starting to suspect it's not?! Lord in Heaven. (Also what's with all the fudging *"Indians"* everywhere? Did you mean 'indigenous'?)
