I'm not enjoying the un-historical materialist approach, in that Han believes that human nature is intrinsically narcissistic and violent. No, those are capitalist tendencies, which have been instilled into human behaviour over time. Not that narcissism and violence don't exist in human beings, but they are not inherent characteristics of every human being, of which Han is suggesting.
