Finally reached the late 1980s and because I remember this sequence of violent fury singed in memory by Fleet Street headlines I walked by coming out of a tube station or down a high street, the troubled landscape Patrick paints is captured so well by a famous image of Fr. Alec Reid on the ground near a bloodied corpse staring up into the camera lens, pure horror.
