I unknowingly fell into a slump and couldn’t read anything. Put down the books that I was reading and tried a few others and couldn’t get into them either. Then I picked this one up, since it’s been on my shelves for over a year, and am surprised that I really got into this right from the beginning. So far nothing not to like, fast pace and a lot going on.

What a book…what am I reading? Other than the…I’ll say smut (ugh, can’t stand smut, a little, light spice and romance, cool, but no), this is a good book when thinking of the plot, fast pace, illness, studying and investigating said illness, conspiracy theories, secret societies, elite school, paranormal, island history, so many twists, etc etc.
