I find Florence unlikeable. I understand some of her characteristics come from her history. I can empathize a bit. She was treated badly by people. She’s also self centered and judgmental.
Still a lot that makes me think Adam killed his former girlfriend and is the strangler.
Could Mr Foster be the killer and is teaching Dillon how to do it? Or maybe he has dementia- can of nails instead of crickets?

12% in- I find the narrator unlikeable. One of the least reasons is that she regularly uses phrases like “if I’m being honest” and other forms of such. Repetitive, and also an unlikeable characteristic. Not just because of the repetitiveness, also because I’m very suspicious of anyone who uses that phrase. Is she lying the rest of the time? And I think her upstairs neighbor is the killer.
