Rhythmic language continues. Interesting contrast to the gruesome imagery.

Soooo good so far. Bagger is a great protagonist to root for. Not because he makes good decisions, but because he is flawed, but he’s relatable and witty and bad his own way. But he tries.

Great characterization all around. Each character feels distinct & visible in my mind.

Stylistically intriguing as it’s one continuous sentence (barring dialogue)
Gruesome imagery contrasted by tone of dry humor and resignation of hopelessness
