Knowing what I knew before reading this, and seeing modern history write itself among these pages is absolutely heart-wrenching. Decades of history, the slow evolving and degradation of Palestinian citizens and their homes and the tactics utilized by Israeli military is barbaric, calculated, and inhumane.
