This book is brutal. It is written in a way where the main character somehow feels like the side character the whole time. Like in the perks of being a wallflower. Very sad twist. It is written beautifully. I love the poetry shared in the book between the teacher and matty. I love that he is called matty. I love his friend trip. Tabby is lovely and a tease whether she knows it or not. I see matty as life list lawyer
