A Solstice Kiss- 5 stars! This was a cute little romance that also dealt with themes of self discovery and doing something new even though it’s scary. No spice at all.

Ho Ho Oh No- 2 stars. The premise was cute and it was the first MM story in the book, but the pacing was a little crazy for me. Zero to 100 in only a few pages. Also the character’s names took me out a bit too.

Someone to Hold Onto: 3 stars. A little whodunnit sort of vibe, staking out for a dessert thief. This didn’t really feel Christmassy to me, just takes place at Christmas time. Would’ve liked more relationship development.

I’ll Be Home for Ex-Mas is 5 stars for me. Wow I really really loved that one, I wish that there was more! Imagine trying to get home on Christmas Eve and your flight that’s been delayed multiple times is now cancelled- you can’t fly out until tomorrow morning. THEN you run into your ex in the airport…

Deck His Halls- 3 stars. Brothers best friend and close proximity are usually very enjoyable for me, but I had a difficult time believing the characters’ chemistry. Pacing was SUPER fast which is a nuance of novellas, of course.

5 Stars to A Merry Little Christmas. I was so excited when I saw Jessica Joyce would be a part of this collaborative project and even more that her short story kicked it off! I adore her writing and storytelling. I wish we got to see more (but then of course it wouldn’t be a short story). It was cute and sweet!
