holy crap! right at 31% the "zombie" outbreak very suddenly starts!!! no gore or carnage yet but i suspect there will be more instantly! this book is amazing and gnarly!!!

daaamn! sooo gnarly! this town proves to he even more demented than in the last update! no content warnings to speak if aside from casual racial slurs and mentions of pedo stuff in a character's internal monologue is the missing child possessed? dead??? im sure i will find out soon! sarah langan is a magnificent writer and gets small town horror like stephen king!!!

holy shit! something is very seriously wrong in this town! i dont think the "zombie" outbreak has started but mass insanity appears to be starting we have a town drunk attacking toddlers and their parents at a children's library event nothing triggery or gory just violent insanity. lots of mentions and flashbacks of infidelity and something cuckoldry adjacent something's rotten in this state of denmark!

wowdouble content warning for animal death in this book we had a demonic child squeeze a rabbit to oblivion now a grown ass woman poisoning a bird unsettling, yes but not traumatic, imo! i cannot wait to see where this book goes! its sooo creepy so far! i cant wait until the zombie plague starts!

wowwwwww what did i just read?! how horrific!! i feel like it was a demonuc possession scene but yikes! who is this author and why is she not more well known?! content warning for animal mutilation and unsettling horror scenes! this is going to sit unwell within me for some time yikes! bravo! true horror!
