Trying to reread this, and disliking it even more than the first time. “Whatever is in me that makes decisions is now full of an accretion of plaque, the chalky consequence of, paradoxically, so many hollow moments.” Fucking stupid sentence. I have no respect for people who think this is acceptable writing.
