I'm well into the third book (about half way). I can see the remarkable change in tone in the writing; it is substantially different than the first two volumes. I think it's a good change of pace and reflects Titus' passing from the gothic, brooding Gormenghast to the New World

Just finished Book 2 of the triology; on to Book 3!

Finished the first book in the trilogy, "Titus Groan." On to "Gormenghast." I'm amassing a sizable list of words!
