this book makes me wanna smack the main character on the head. dense and unlikeable. not a mega fan of the writing either- uses a lot of the same similes “sharp as a scalpel” and descriptors “aggressive air conditioning”. i also don’t love how the author has the main character denying the plausibility for the same reason over and over “he’s a pEdiAtRiC SuRgEoN”.. ok and..? hoping it gets better :)
