Finished Chapter 4.
Plot thickens! I'm intrigued who Jocelyn is, how did Clary's dad die. Looking forward to the next chapter and getting some answers (hopefully). Also, I'm curious how will the exposition be handled.
Language: this book doesn't have beautiful prose - it's mostly character actions and dialogues. Some similes are very awkward. Action scenes struggle with positioning characters clearly in space.
