The last tale in my paperback copy is another unique take, offering something that is "dark" and "web," the collection closes out "Through the Willows The Spider Man Comes" by Chad Singleton. It was cool and unique and delved into history and African folklore. Cool stuff.

I was pretty touched when they let me submit a novella for this edition too. In "Pay It Darkward" I tried a different take on what the "dark web" would mean. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it.

When DL Garvin made me a character in his story, "Jeffrey," trepidation mixed with feeling honored. Make no mistake, it is a horror story full of good-natured satire. But in all honesty, his opening line of "Jeffrey had always been a strange kid." Gotta say he's kinda nailed it. I mean me. I mean not *nailed* me... You get the idea.
Now go do what I would do and eat some bugs or something else really weird.

I had a lot of fun writing the first contribution I made to this collection, "Danny Boy." The Butchered Writers, we're a pretty tight-knit group and we like each other a lot. We tease each other. And in this one I featured fellow writer DL Garvin as a main character along with me. (Don't worry, he gets his revenge in the next story). That being said. Ya never know who uses the dark web, so always tip your barista!

The darkest story by far in this one has been Nora Peevy's "How Dark Can It Get?" You'll wanna brace your brain for this one.

DL Garvin gives us a cautionary tale of entering the house that the Dark Web built in "The Facilitator Part 1." Dude... don't go in there!!!

Colt Henderson's "Unicorn" just goes to show you that the Dark Web is not a great place to get your illicit drugs. Entertaining splatter in this one.

In Winona Morris' "Nightglass" we get a heart-rending tale that leaves you doubting your dark desires. Friendly advice... Keep your loved ones close and with both eyes on them, lest you...
Well... I guess you just gotta read this one to find out.

Melinda Pouncey, Sarah Moon, and Nora Peevy offer up a real up in your face terror that starts with hunting innocent women and transforms into a revenge tale in the very extreme horror story, "**** Hunt."
