it’s kinda dragging, but I do enjoy the characters and learning about everybody and the banter between the characters is really funny and really entertaining and I’m liking all of the characters so far

OK, it was my guess that the mother has Alzheimer’s is right. It’s actually kind of really sad seeing her internal thoughts about her mother’s illness.. the aunt and the mother having a followed over land when they were growing up is such a staple in the black community that I had to do a double take
