I love Elodie’s “voice”/perspective . At this point, it’s what’s carrying the book for me. I love how much she craves intimacy. I love how focused she is on desire and how it can sometimes make her uneasy. You can see her obsession with Violet and the Ambassador at this point. Her lack of intimacy with her husband makes her kinda lose it over this couple.

THE MC’S NAME IS ELODIE

The protagonist is….BEYOND touch starved? I don’t even think touch starved is the right word! She reminds me of the protagonist from Briefly, A Delicious Life. So far only one character has been named and it’s Violet, one of the objects of MC’s…Desires?
