Just read the Russian / Uzbekistan visit portion from 1976, and I perceive it as being so alien now, that these lives before Putin took power were so different, so full of hope. In reality, I don’t really know, I’m just guessing. I don’t know how this particular corrupt power can play out to average citizens, can affect hope.
