I hate how he describes women. First of all there are no noteworthy female characters and when I do come across them, like a person wandering in the desert comes across an oasis, they are all portrayed as angels. Their frame is delicate, their eyes are like sunshine, and their bodies soft.

I'm getting tired of Luo Ji. There better be a fantastic reason or culmination of all he's doing.
The translator of this book is different from the first one and I am not liking it as much as the first. It's stiff and formal and very much tailored for the American audience. Certain word choices putting me off.
