Everyone talks about this book so I thought it would be really good. Half an hour in and this woman is saying that she was obsessed with homekeeping magazines from the age of 5, and that she spent all her time at school organising the classroom and “formally studying tidying.” Girl what.

I’m surprised by how focused this book is on stay at home mothers and housewives doing the work. To me this seems outdated
