Louisa May Alcott has a weird obsession with boys and a weird relationship with girls. All of her works seem to dote upon every male character, and be highly critical of female characters. This series, admittedly, isn't quite so blatant about it, since Jo-Hating-Girls-Is-Her-Main-Personality-Trait-March isn't in it, but still. Very extreme viewpoints on women given by Alcott's works.
