So that was my re-read of issues 168-172. Pure magic, right? As someone who loved Amazing Spider-Man 197, when the Kingpin retired from crime out of love for his wife, I was sorry to see him pulled back in this way, this terrible way. Kingpin transitions perfectly from his Spider Man days, and finds a hero to fight who suits him so much better. Elektra and Bullseye are perfect, and I’m about to get the Gladiator…!
