I have to say the Broadsword and Dagger scene was brutal. “I accidentally filmed it and it automatically uploads to the cloud” this made me feel icky because what do you mean you understand what consent is but you still do that ?? The Evie scene is also heartbreaking, you have such an intimate relationship for years and then you’re gonna ask Sly to denounce gender for sex and money when you KNOW their limits.

The way age play was explained as a way to have a relief from your life as an adult makes me understand it better. “Enjoying attention without having responsibilities… being respected without the burden of having to earn respect” I think anyone can understand wanting to escape being an adult in this world and just like anything else people find a release for that want in different ways.

Sly knows how to pack on the intensity of a relationship in just a few pages. I’ve met three people and feel like I know them so intimately already. Their writing is also so eloquent and light in humor that helps take away judgement.

“I offer to buy him a drink. He offers that he’s a recovering addict and orders an herbal tea.” -such a simple and funny way to introduce a new character and give him depth.
