I’ve come to the conclusion that in order to pass any of your formative schooling in Britain and attend college, you must have enough sarcasm and improv/comedy know-how to kill an elderly woman. Otherwise, they ship you off to Australia/the US or you have to start “soul searching” in one of the many countries that the British empire has colonized and fucked over!
